Paper Quilled Album Cover Series

The Album Cover Series is the series I've been trying to make since I was a kid. I have long been wanting to find a way to visually express my love and gratefulness for the music that I have obsessively listened to all my life. Music has always been a grounding source for me, a way to escape my current life issues, a security blanket, and a storytelling in some ways of my life itself. One day the idea came to me to begin an album cover series in my style of quilling and the creative juices continued to flow. I started researching as always and began to get the materials needed to bring this piece to life. I made a promise to myself that I would stream EVERY time I worked on this piece. I wanted people to see the amount of time it takes to create these. To see the techniques I use( for those who want to try) and I wanted to make it a fun, safe space. Bonus, I get to socialize with amazing people. I began implementing Easter Eggs, because...why not? Plus, I've hidden an easter egg in every quilled piece I've ever made. I started gaining a community who is incredibly kind and awesome. I am so excited to continue this journey and I can't wait to see what artists albums I begin to gravitate to next with this. Enjoy..
